Cooper

Cooper's race name was Pound Puppy and he had many adventures before joining us. We are really lucky with the horses we have found because they always have love to spare and Coop is no exception. He is a big boy with tons of energy who loves to run. Cooper's groundwork and manners are impeccable.

His trail manners are the best of them all!  Nothing fazes him and he just forges on through the trail like a trooper

Cooper is currently retired but comes out for workshops and will be waiting for treats at the fence I'm sure.

Willow

Willow joined our barn in March 2010.  Since that time she has done a photoshoot and some princess birthday parties as well as her regular lessons.  She is model perfect!  She is a gentle kind girl -beautiful inside and out.

Hanson

Hanson is an adorable little  TB/TW cross.  He joined our family due to personal issues of his past owner.

He has been well trained so far and we look forward to continuing with the gentle 'no nonsense' approach that has produced such a well balanced colt.

Gracie

We adopted,Gracie, our Percheron/Arabian mix, from the humane society. When we first got her she was still so under weight you could count her ribs from far away. We were not able to put a halter on her and she wouldn't let anyone touch her feet but we soon discovered how much she loved to snuggle.  It took a few months but Gracie started to really learn to trust humans again!   We had her first farrier visit about 6 months after she arrived where she had her front feet done completely and a quick trim on the back.  That is an adventure we still talk about to this day.  Poor Mike, our farrier, rolled down the aisle when Grace decided to shake him off.  But he still comes back!  :)

We did find out some interesting news once our vet was able to get near her a few months after her arrival.  She was only about 2 or 3 at that time.  We all were sure that she was well over 20 from the way she looked but she acted like a youngster and a professional doublecheck of her teeth proved our suspicions right

Grace is available for part board to an independent, person who puts horses needs first for $150 dollars a month.  She has been green broke but her training is not consistent.  Gracie's perfect partner would like to learn to train a horse in a firm but fair manner (or practice their own methods).  Grace would never be up for sale because of her past but we very much enjoy having partboarders that like to grow with us and their horse.

Lady

Lady came to us on September 23rd 2012.  Her owner was no longer able to care for her due to personal reasons and our vet recommended our care.  She was overweight-a 9 or 10 on the scale (that goes to 10)- and had only been ridden for a few months during her training.  She has lost all her weight and is no longer sore in the front now.  Two weeks in, I threw a saddle pad on her back, over her head and hid with her under it and all I got was kisses.  Lady is a grade mare with QH? maybe Arab?  maybe Morgan but definitely SB since she paces all over the paddock.

Lady is currently available for partboard at 150 dollars a month.

Sophie

In September 2007, we welcomed Sophie (formerly known as Midnight) to our barn.  She has been a great joy to all of us.

My nieces have loved riding and just spending time with her and she has become the princess in her barn castle.

Like Jessi says, no barn should ever be without a cute little pony like Soph.  We are not sure of her exact age but she is in the around 35+ year old age range.  She has gotten so much whiter since her arrival and this winter even brought out a 'storm streak' in her mane.  Although we no longer ride Sophie on a regular basis, she still adores her human dressup time.
